This Full Moon in Capricorn asks us to keep going.
This Full Moon is fire and bone. Ash and sky.
Perhaps some shocks, aha moments, or exhilaration from the recent Mars-Uranus conjunction opened us to hard truths over the past few weeks. Some of us reacquainted ourselves with long-held beliefs that lay dormant. The messages came to us in symbols and events. As if the embers spoke, “We are here now and it’s time to live our truth.” Those nagging feelings that we put on the back burner are starting to resurface as this Moon is conjunct with Pluto.
Pluto will return to Capricorn one last time in our lifetime this September. November 2008 is when this journey all began. The world and our lives were drastically different, yet we saw the underpinnings of what would take place. Looking back is usually easier, it is the forward motion from uncertainty that feels bizarre. Pluto started their journey in Capricorn during a very Sagittarius time, a stellium of archers. Our beliefs were front and center, the fire of our beings was set to flame.
This Full Moon harkens back and asks us to get right with ourselves and our beliefs. Is our material world matching our soulful knowing?
The Moon and Pluto are trine Mars, igniting the inner knowing into action. With spiritual support from Neptune, the time is now to cast our psychic nets. To remember what started us on this journey of Self, what ignited our desire to change systems that have overstepped and exploited the essence of our Earth and our better selves.
Why is the Capricorn goat climbing that mountain? What is it all for?
We live in a society where nation ownership of the Moon is debated, Ocean floors are violated, and people connected to the land are murdered. We are corralled into esthetic chutes thinking we have choice.
These last few months of 2024 are the CODA of a piece that began in 2008.
This Full Moon is reminding us which instrument we play. What role is ours in this grand masterpiece. Each part is vital. Emotions are tones that help us live in harmony. The Moon is not to be owned, it is our connection to our spiritual emotional self and reminds us to be in awe. The kind of awe that is beyond ownership. Moonlight illuminates the knowing of spirit that is threaded within each of us to live who we are in authenticity and power.
We are meant to dance in the moonlight, to sing in the moonlight, to revel in the mystery and not to define it.
When we reach the pinnacle, there is no need to stake a flag. The view and the feeling we have is the reward.
This Full Moon is fire and bone. Ash and sky.
We can burn (metaphorically or ceremonially) what is no longer in our hearts.
